2024

In 2024 I was gifted my mom's NEX-5 and upgraded my H35 to an H35N. I took an intro to digital photography class at community college. There, I learned the basics from a teacher rather than through my own trial and error, but had yet to study anything really deeper. Travels this year were Europe, New York, Thailand, and Hawai‘i.

Thailand

My desire to go to Thailand had been building for years. From Muay Thai to tattoos and tea, I was well aware of its influence from a young age. In the fall, I left the states for two and a half months and had an amazing time. I enjoyed delicious food, intoxicated chess games in hostels, and of course taking pictures everywhere. Gentrification is incredibly widespread across the whole country and I had quite some mixed feelings about being a tourist there. Despite that, every local was incredibly nice as well as the travelers too.
